Create an Analysis
Getting started by creating your own environment
This guide walks you through creating an analysis from inputing the existing environment, software, and costs to mapping a target and then running an analysis.
Create an Existing Environment
If first time doing an analysis , on the dashboard under "Create Your First Environment" select Create Manually, if you have already made an Environment/Analysis you must go to "Environments" and click Create a New Analysis there.

Create your environment by adding Environment Name, Folder Location, and Client/Provider Details.

Add Server Infrastructure or Other Cost/Benefits to the Existing Environment.

Fill in Server Name, Label, and using type ahead find the model of your existing server (e.g. S924, Xeon 85XX, EPYC 75XX)

Set the CPU Utilization, RAM Utilization, Active Cores, and Software (OS, Hypervisor, and Application/DB)

Customize Software Licensing by setting core/quantity, discount, pricing, and target licensing.

Adding a Target Environment
Click Add and put a Name and select the catalogs you would like to choose from for the Target.

Select which Existing Environment Servers you would like mapped and then select what you would like the Target Mapping to be (New Server, Keep Existing Server, or Decommission)

Add Target Mapping Server Name, Label, and using type ahead select model type (specific or Optimal Target e.g. optimal sizing/cost option)

Customize Target Environment CPU Utilization, Memory Utilization, Memory and Software (OS, Hypervisor, and Application/DB)

If multiple target options, adjust target mappings accordingly (if not done while building out Target Options prior)

Generate TCO Analysis
Click Create TCO Analysis.

Select the Timeframe and Save Analyses Results (Adding Name Required)

View the Analysis (Executive Summary, Costs Timeline, Analysis Details) and Download PDF/Excel versions of the Analysis.
